Why we love Sheepscombe

Whether wind and rain, bright, sunny warmth, or just one of those cool, still days, when the weather is just quietly being itself, working on our site overlooking Sheepscombe brings enormous pleasure.  Looking across the valley, observing and listening to nature is balm for the soul.  We are fortunate to have extremely rich and fertile soil on our site, teeming with all the necessary flora and fauna to keep the soil healthy.  We use no pesticides or chemicals of any kind – our job is to love and nurture the land for future generations, while producing high quality food.   The history of the village is fascinating, as can be seen from the Sheepscombe website, here, but it’s very much a flourishing, friendly community, rather than an historical attraction and we’re proud to be part of it.  Why not come and see us?  We’re always here on a Thursday (9-2) – feel free to ask us about the food we grow, what we do and our plans for future (GM-free) crops –  everyone is very welcome to get involved  (however suits you, in different ways, at different levels) or just drop by for a chat!  You’ll find us on Beech Lane, Sheepscombe.
