As we say goodbye to 2025, we’ve been reflecting on the year that’s been. Despite weather setbacks, some crops not surviving, plus practical or administrative snags (and thank you again for the very helpful feedback, through our recent questionnaire), 2025 was also very rewarding. We had success with some amazing varieties of salads and veg., including new ones we tried for the first time. Our orchard continues to thrive as does the wildlife in our small, but very special growing area here in Sheepscombe and we had great fun at our various events (such as the potato day at Stroud Market, pictured). As always, it’s a pleasure to meet our customers, either as we carry out our deliveries, events or at local markets.
Just a reminder – deliveries for will resume again on 8th January, but I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for our veg boxes – we hope they bring you as much pleasure, eating the produce, as it does all of us here to tend the soil and work with the land to grow the food. As we look ahead to the new year and the continuing challenges facing farmers, growers and natural food producers, we will remain true to our principles to bring you the freshest, affordable food, grown in harmony with the seasons to organic standards.
Wishing you and happy and healthy 2026,
With very best wishes,
Amanda.
